Parishioner Status and Enrollment
1. Definition of Parishioner Status
For the purpose of admission priority, a family must meet the school’s definition of a “Parishioner Family.”
This status requires:
- Formal registration with St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church for a minimum of six months prior to application.
- Regular and verifiable attendance at Sundays and other approved services.
- Consistent and meaningful financial support to the Church through documented annual giving.
2. Admissions Process
In addition to an interview with the St. Stephen’s Director of Admission, theparishioner applicant’s family must schedule an interview with the Rector of St. Stephen’s Church and School.
3. Ongoing Obligation and Re-evaluation
By enrolling a child under the Parishioner Status, the family agrees to maintain their active status as defined above for the entire duration of the child’s enrollment at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School.
4. Consequences of Non-Compliance
Should a family fail to maintain active Parishioner Status, the school reserves the right to review and potentially re-evaluate the family’s annual re-enrollment contract for the subsequent school year. Any such re-evaluation will adhere to theterms outlined in the school’s current Parent/Student Handbook and re-enrollment policies.
