His musical career includes tenure as an Assistant Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, a baritone with the San Francisco Opera Chorus and conductor of wind ensembles, orchestras and choruses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. By day, Greg serves as a financial services executive based in Miami. He lives in Coconut Grove with his wife and daughter.

After teaching for 12 years, she was offered the opportunity to take on leadership roles, ranging from assistant principal and principal of the primary school to admissions director for PK through 5th grade, all at Gulliver Schools in Miami, Florida. In 1999 she became Assistant Head of School at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School and in 2005 she became the Head of School. She graduated with a BS and a Masters of Education in Human Services from Nova Southeastern University. Mrs. Larrauri serves on the Board of the National Association of Episcopal Schools.

Pastor Jorge has worked for more than 15 years as a worship leader in Puerto Rico and the United States. He earned his undergraduate degree in music from the University of Puerto Rico and received his M.Div. from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In addition to his M.Div., Pastor Jorge completed a residency program with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Before coming to SSEDS he served seven years as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Adults at Second Presbyterian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Stephens. Mike works in finance and tries to stay active in charities that focus on helping children in need. He proudly spends Sunday mornings co-leading the intermediate-aged Sunday School program at St. Stephens. Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Miami Trident’s Rugby Football Club.

He has been a member of St. Stephen’s since 2002. A local attorney, Bob teaches Sunday school and has been active in youth ministries.

Stephens and Jorge and Kara were received into the Episcopal church here. Jorge is a lector, has been a doorkeeper during Sunday school and this year is also teaching Sunday school. Jorge del Valle has been a real estate attorney for over 20 years and is currently General Counsel to a real estate investment and management company. Paul Campbell and his wife Tamar moved to Miami in the summer of 2018 with their two sons Micah and Amos.

He found St. Stephens because of our involvement with People Acting for Community Together (PACT). Paul spent his early years in the Episcopal church, so being at St. Stephens has been a home-coming of sorts for him. He is coming from Michigan most recently and has greatly enjoyed the warm weather here. You can find the Campbell family out at different parks and playgrounds all across the county.

Trained as a humanist, scholar, and teacher, Kelly has spent her career in higher education. On walks in Coconut Grove with her beloved dog, Pivot, she passed by St. Stephen’s. She soon began to attend services and realized she had found a warm, welcoming, and inclusive place to worship.

Kirsten served on the vestry a number of years ago as well as having been a member of our choir. Kirsten is professor of U.S. history at FIU and the author of Masterful Women: Slaveholding Widows from the American Revolution through the Civil War and a current manuscript At the Crossroad about the role of taverns in the early US republic.

Deb has been a high school teacher for MDCPS for more than 25 years. She currently runs the Special Needs program at her school. For nearly two decades she has also been a teacher at St. Stephen’s in one way or another. She has taught all ages, and she is the co-teacher for our youth group grades 6th thru 12th. She has been on four mission trips to the Dominican with her son and others from St. Stephen’s. She serves on one of our outreach ministries as a Team Leader for P.A.C.T.

Liz Moran has been a parishioner of St. Stephen’s since fall 2010. She and her husband were married here, and both of their boys were baptized here.

Over the years at St. Stephen’s she has been involved in the youth group, mission trips and holiday activities for youth group families. She moved to Miami from Columbus, Ohio, to begin her teaching career in 2005. She served on the vestry from 2013 – 2015 and is delighted to join the vestry again.

He and his wife became parishioners of St. Stephens when their oldest daughter, Abby, began Junior Kindergarten at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School in 2017. His younger daughter, Ella, was baptized at St. Stephen’s, and both girls are currently students at the day school.
Jordan is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and has spent time living in Chicago, Washington DC, Upstate New York, and Santiago, Chile. Jordan is the owner of a company that operates, advises, and invests in small businesses in the Miami area. Through his business he has worked with several community organizations such as Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and the National Association of the Bahamas, where he organized a fundraiser to provide relief after Hurricane Dorian.

Thomas and his family initially lived in Coconut Grove from 2016-1017 and then returned permanently in 2020. His wife Paulina is a Godly Play volunteer and is originally from Mexico City.

His older daughter Maria Julia (Maju—4) attends St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School and hopes her sister, Cecilia (Ceci—2), will join her next year. He began attending St Stephen’s in 2022 while searching for a school for MaJu.
He’s originally from Charlotte, NC, and held positions of increasing responsibility as an Air Force pilot, including a posting to the US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia. He continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve and works as a pilot for a major airline.
Thomas and his family enjoy walking and biking together in the Grove.
Andrea Subhawong
Andrea grew up in Tennessee and met her husband Ty at summer science camp when they were 15. They both went to Vanderbilt in Nashville for undergrad and medical school and got married in 2003.

Music
Music is a large part of our worship at St. Stephen’s. During the 10:30 am Mass on Sundays our superb, largely volunteer choir, conducted by choir director Gregory Cheng, sings a fine repertoire of Anglican anthems, psalms, and motets.
